Histopathology examines tissue removed during surgery or biopsy under the microscope to confirm the nature of a lesion. Our in-house lab supports both elective and intra-operative reporting — including frozen section, which guides the surgeon during a procedure. Specimens are processed, sectioned and stained on-site, with immunohistochemistry available for tumour characterisation.

For private referrals: request a pathology referral from your consultant before sending the specimen

Trained by TMH Bombay and TVMC — both pathologists report routinely.
IHC panels and special stains are available on request for tumour work-up.
