Ultrasonography uses sound waves to image organs in real time — without radiation. We perform a full range of obstetric scans (dating, anomaly, growth, biophysical profile and Doppler), abdominal and pelvic ultrasound, transvaginal scans, soft-tissue and small-parts imaging, and USG-guided procedures including FNAC, trucut biopsy and drainage of deep-seated collections. All obstetric scans are performed in line with PCPNDT regulations: foetal sex is never disclosed.

• Transvaginal sonography (TVS)
• Abdominal & pelvic ultrasound
• Pelvic / gynaecological scans
• USG of soft tissues, thyroid, breast, scrotum
• Arterial & venous Doppler — peripheral, carotid, renal
• Paediatric and neonatal abdomen / cranial scans
• USG-guided FNAC and trucut (core) biopsy
• USG-guided aspiration & drainage of collections

நோயாளி தயாரிப்பு

• Abdominal scan: 6 hours fasting (water allowed) for clearest images of gallbladder and pancreas
• Pelvic / obstetric scan (early pregnancy): a full bladder is needed — drink 4–5 glasses of water 1 hour before
• Bring antenatal records, previous scans and the obstetrician's referral
• Wear loose clothing that allows easy access to the area being scanned
